This is me...

I might be struggling to get things done but there is always time for Mama Kat's Weekly Writer's Workshop entry.

This is how I see myself...

Last year at this time I looked like this:

But secretly, I wanted to look like this:

Some days, this is a pretty accurate picture of how I feel
:

But, I should probably look at least half this good:

I am almost positive that this is NOT what my family sees because....

This is me...

  1. I absolutely love that last picture! That is adorable. I felt like the Goodyear blimp when I was pregnant too.

  2. Thanks Chanel. I didn't just feel like the Goodyear blimp...I'm pretty sure we could have been mistaken for twins! hahaha

  4. ...and I think that last one is absolutely the best! :)
Just about anyone could look as good as those models if they had multiple people dotting over their hair and makeup for hours :) Trust me they don't look that way in everyday life. :)

  7. I LOVE this post (and I can totally relate, except that my baby is 4 years old now. And I'm still feeling blimp like.)

    The last picture is priceless!

  10. So creative. I LOVED it! Skinny pregnant women have always ticked me off. It's just not natural, darn it! But I probably only feel that way because I gained a good 40 to 50 pounds with each of my pregnancies!

  11. I crack up everytime I see that last picture. It's the best! And yeah, I stare in awe at those skinny pregnant women. Why can't they share some of the good gene pool with the rest of us????

  12. Theresa you have to remember they get "paid" to be the skinny pregnant women--that is what I always tell myself--I get paid to uphold the Constitution and the laws of the land (or maybe paid to save the world one insurance company at a time) so that is my excuse ha! : )

  13. Good call my Atty friend. :) I would much rather get paid to sit on my butt and stress over office politics than get paid to starve myself and exercise my tail off. Where's the enjoyment in that?!

I am, however, on a mission to rid the world of stupidy and I fear I will never get paid for that....maybe when I'm President of the Universe.
